Games... reading... relaxing....The Living Room at the beach house is well equipped for our guests' entertainment needs or to simply unwind.
The kids keep busy with a large trunk filled to overflowing with board games and puzzles. We also have chess, checkers, crib, backgammon and scrabble.
Update July 27th 2011 We now have a new 42in plasma HDTV with a HD definition satellite reciever, so you can enjoy lots of HD channels and 100 plus stardard definition channels. A DVD player allows for movies rentals at the corner store for a night in. We also have a new large cabinet to store all the 30 plus games and puzzles, with 5 new board games added to the collection. A newer larger coffee table allows easier playing of the board games. We have a very wide range of games for all ages and we are always getting feedback on what our guests like. Two new body boards are now available to be used in the surf.[Hirtle's beach can have some incredible waves for surfing] There are also lots of pails, shovels, sand moulds and trucks for the little ones to play with in the sand at the beach.

An assortment of reading lamps are placed throughout the house to enhance your pleasure. Flying a kite for fun is a breeze. Usually few people are on the beach, so you'll have plenty of room for flying. We supply our guests with two kites, a red biplane and a bald eagle. |
